Daily Station Gaming Log #9

Here are the games I played for (08-23-10)

007: Tomorrow Never Dies-

As my last post shows I just recently got this one. I had avoided it for years because of the reviews, but as I get further into it I've decide that I like it, but it's not the best. It's got it's flaws, but taken on it's own merits and not on the merits of Goldeneye (which was a dumb game to rate this by, because of the change in developer), it's a decent 3rd person shooter for the PS1. It has it's flaws of course. Some touchy controls, and psychic A.I., but it's not as terrible as it has been made out to be all these years.

During my play of TND, the door bell rang and the PS1 system and game lot I bought on ebay to resell came in today. Here are the games from that lot that I tested today:

Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown
Tenchu 2
007: Tomorrow Never Dies (yep another copy, but it's not complete)
007 Racing
Men in Black - The Series: Crashdown
Threads of Fate
Wild Arms (I'm going to keep this one)
WWF Smackdown 2
NCAA Football '99
NFL Gameday 2000
Cool Boarders 4
Action Bass
Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase
Monsters Inc
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
Grind Session
NCAA March Madness '99 (This one didn't work)

I've still yet to test Fear Effect, and Driver 2. The lot came with a PS1 as well. It works, but the disks spin lopsided forcing part of the disk to rub on the inside of the system, so it has the potential to damage disks. Not sure if I'm going to contact the seller, or keep it for parts.
