Someone found and linked to this Tech Demo video on a different site I visit. So it appears that the technology did morph into the Eye Toy, but never got developed far enough to use wands, and whatnot.
Either way, it shows that Sony isn't being completely unoriginal with PlayStation Move. Not that it matters, because companies take and improve ideas from other companies all the time. Where would the auto industry be if the various makers didn't take and improve upon innovations of their rivals?
Gamers get so caught up in who did it first that they forget who did it better. If doing it first was more important, then games Like Mario Bros on the NES would get no credit, because Pitfall was first. Do you see what I'm saying? Just enjoy your games, and don't get dragged into meaningless debates like that. Gaming is supposed to be fun, and idiotic arguments about who's supposedly ripping off who aren't fun.
