Again, I only played one game today (08-24-10), and that was:
In the gameplay of Grind Session, it's very much a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater rip-off, but it does put a few twists on the formula. Instead of just completing objectives in each level in order to move on, progression depends on what you do in your runs. Completing certain stunts in-game stunts gives you respect points. Build up enough respect points, and you unlock new levels, photo-op sessions, and even gain new tricks. It's a little different in execution than THPS in that regard.
I just wish the tricks were more responsive at times, the soundtrack didn't suck (it mixes good-to OK punk music with bad to bad hip-hop which is a terrible mixture), and the camera didn't have the occasional hiccups.
Overall, this is a fun game that's worth looking into if you're an extreme sports fan. It won't make you give up THPS, but it's a nice change of pace.
