I haven't been posting these much lately, because last week I spent most of my free time hanging with a friend. He's the one I went to that pawn shop with where I got those killer deals on. Anyways, today (09-05-10) was back to normal for me.
Here are the two PlayStation system games I played today:
I didn't play too far into this today, but put in probably around two hours. For those who don't know this is made by the developers of the first Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and it takes place in the Everquest universe. You know, that game that was the big MMORPG before WoW came along and made everyone forget about it.
So far, I'm liking it. It plays a lot like Dark Alliance, but that is to be expected coming from the same people. I haven't setup my online profile for this game just yet, and, like I said in the last post, I'm not sure if I'm going to play it online, because I've heard bad things about the community for the game. That is assuming there is still a community for it. My main reason for wanting to log-on in this game was to see if there was anyone still playing it.
My save for the 360 version is still a lot further into the game than my PS3 save for the game, but this game, despite being repetitive in objectives, is still very addictive for me. I can lose hours in it despite it's limitations. Sometimes it's just fun to move around exploring the city, and occasionally killing random people. Yes, you get penalized for killing innocent people, but it only takes your life down a little, and in a game where your lifebar refills, that's not much of a punishment at all.
