I recently picked up a number of games, and of them here are the games for the PlayStation consoles I picked up:
As i said in the last post, I had this one on order, and like I suspected, it's a decent shmup, but it's not going to make you forget about R-Type Delta, G Darius, Einhander, or any of the other better shmups on the PS1. It's still a good game though, and it's easily worth the less-than $6 (shipping included) I paid for it.
I was hanging with my friend most of the week, and on his side of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, there's an Pawn shop that used to be a Hollywood video. They had apparently bought out the store's stock, and were now selling a lot of the games, and movies that were previously in the Hollywood video. If you'll notice, the $39.99 used sticker on the Dark Alliance II box that used to be at Game Crazy, you'd probably think I paid a lot of money for these games, especially Dark Alliance II and Champions Return to Arms which can be pretty pricey online (for PS2 games that is). That, however, was not the case. They had a set price of $7 for all PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox games. I got all three of these games for about $23 after taxes. Dark Alliance II alone would run you around $30 disk-only online, so as you can see, I just got an awesome deal on these games.
Both of the champions games are still online for coop gameplay, but I've heard that people on them can be real ***holes. Not that I intend on taking them online, but it's nice to have the option.
Also, Return to arms, and DAII are missing their books, but I'm perfectly fine with that for the price. I'm more interested in playing games than having complete games in my collection.
Shooter Space Shot (PS1)-

Champions of Norrath, Champions: Return to Arms, and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II (PS2)-
