I played the same game today (08-27-10) as I did yesterday.
As you can see, it's not often that I play the same game from one day to the next due to a case of gaming ADD that comes with having a relatively large collection of games.
Again this is a great third person shooter with some great humor. It even infuses the 3D shooting with some strategy game elements, and as I'm playing right now, even some racing game elements.
Today I've been playing as Delphi as I already beat the part where you play as the little green Mecc guys. As with the Mecc guys, her quest starts out pretty tough. Sometimes you feel like you're just barely forging ahead before you get gang-raped and die. The good thing about the game is you can save anywhere at any time. This means that on the tough levels you can snipe a few enemies, and then save, snipe some more ant save again. This can make the game drag on, but it offsets some of the, at times, unfair difficulty issues.
Overall, I'm still enjoying this game, It's an underrated game, and I really do recommend it.
Keep an eye out for the PS2 version at your local game store, or you can download the PC version from Gog.com here for a mere $6. It's easily worth that much.
Here is a random cutscene from the game that I uploaded to Youtube:
I'll be posting some gameplay footage as soon as I beat the game, or at least get footage of me playing as Kabuto. I'm still a few levels off from playing as him.
Giants: Citizen Kabuto (PS2)-
